Biography

Born into a musical family 50 years ago, music has always been Steve’s destiny.
Early theory and ear training with The San Francisco Boys Chorus was formative.
As a studio musician, performer and educator, Steve is well-known
throughout Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Steve is a composer, musical director, and recording artist, and has
studied and performed music since the age of ten.
As a Musical Director, Pianist and Composer, Steve plays a broad variety
of Jazz, Classical, and Contemporary styles ranging from
Cole Porter to Thelonius Monk.
His style crosses effortlessly between classical and jazz and features
Solo work, Duets, Trios, Quartets and Big Bands.
His dynamic performance at the piano is in great demand as both a
recording artist and live performer.
Steve is currently in the process of completing arrangements for his
next CD of Piano Solos, and playing live performances in
Northern California and the Bay Area.
